Statutory Registrations

The Foundation’s main objectives are to Feed and Equip.

  • Registered with the CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) as a Non-Profit Corporation on 4 May 2006, with reg nr 2006/013361/08.

  • With SARS as a PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) with Sec 18A status, with reg nr 930023544.

  • Other SARS: VAT nr 416 0242071

Audit and B-BBEE

  • The Foundation received an Unqualified Audit report since Incorporation in 2006.

  • The Foundation is a Level 1 contributor to B-BBEE and the full amount of funding received from donors qualify as SED (Socio Economic Development) contributions.

  • The Foundation also qualifies as a shareholder to trading companies where a 51% shareholding by the Foundation gives that trading company up to a Level 1 BEE score.

Board and Management

  • The Foundation’s Board consists of 4 directors: Neil Pretorius – CEO and Founder, Lize Pretorius CA(SA) – Financial Director, Valerie Fourie and Doreen Bessies (Operations Directors). 

  • We have established relationships in various communities and with various organisations including #SurplusWater2025, AQUAffection, AquaIntell, Arise Light Foundation and Molweni Bantwana Outreach to work together to reach our goals of Poverty Relief and Community Development through Water, Food and Empowerment initiatives.

The Foundation’s aim is to transform Communities out of poverty and dependence into a Community looking after itself and its children, by bringing an Economic solution to address their own social needs.

Our Home

The Boma, our Headquarters and indoor/outdoor Training Hub, is located on 80 hectares of land just outside of Kimberley on the N8. Ideally positioned in the heart of South Africa's beauty, The Boma provides easy access to all major cities, allowing us to efficiently coordinate projects nationwide.
